Step 7: Install the Synappx Meeting App on the In-Room PC
Note: Skip this step if the Synappx Go Display Agent was installed using the Synappx Collaboration Installer.
The Synappx Meeting application is designed for both laptop BYOD (Bring Your Own Device or Bring Your Device) for screencasting and the new workspace mode experience. Synappx Meeting application is available via the Microsoft Windows Store.
Note: Some organizations add restrictions to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts. Ensure users have permission to download apps from the Microsoft® Store.
Download Synappx Meeting to the in-room PC from the Microsoft® Store.
- Open the Windows® Start menu. [View Image]
- Start typing store.
- Select the Microsoft Store app.
- Type Synappx Meeting in the Microsoft Store Search bar. [View Image]
- Select the Synappx meeting app.
- The app description page will open. Select Get. [View Image]
- The app will begin downloading. Accept the download if a dialogue box requests permission. After the download is complete, Synappx Meeting will open automatically.
- Login to the Synappx Meeting application using the meeting room resource account. The Synappx Meeting application is automatically set for Workspace Mode. [View Image]
- Synappx Meeting displays a meeting list for the resource. (Microsoft 365 Only) [View Image]
When the user taps the NFC tag, a meeting is automatically started and displays the meeting room timer. [View Image]
- Tap the Synappx Go NFC tag.
- The Synappx user interface on the display changes to the meeting room timer.
- Select the full screen / expand icon to access the meeting details.
